When I was seventeen, a crash broke the transverse processes in my back. The doctors told me that half an inch to the left, and I'd never have walked again.

The fear was worse than the injury.

Coming back, I had to rebuild my riding from the ground up. The day I started landing instead of slamming, I realized it wasn't luck or talent. It was a handful of repeatable fundamentals. That became the Tommie Bennett System, and it's what I teach every rider I work with now.
