It is not your board and it is not your days on snow. Five days and you will see it in your own riding.
The drive up in the dark. The boots. The first chair. Then that first run where you are not riding so much as negotiating.
Legs burning by the bottom. Half a season of rust to knock off, and a quiet calculation running the whole time about which runs you are actually up for today.
You tell yourself it will come back. It does, eventually. That is the part everyone accepts without ever asking what it costs.
By the time it comes good you have burned two days. Usually three. You do not get those back.
The average snowboarder gets five to eight days a season. So that is a third of your winter, sometimes half, gone before you rode one run the way you can actually ride.
On your first day nobody had told you how to stop. Your body invented something to keep you alive: back leg heavy, hips square, eyes locked on the snow in front of you.
It worked. You got down the hill. That is exactly the problem, because you kept it.
Every tip you have collected since is balanced on top of that one survival habit. It is why you can watch a tutorial, understand every word, and still ride down the same. No tip fixes a foundation.
None of it is your fault. This sport never had a pre-season. Footballers do not turn up in August and play themselves into shape in front of a crowd. Snowboarding hands you a lift ticket and wishes you luck, so everybody shows up cold and calls the first three days getting their legs back, as though that were free.
"I could do a backside 900 before anyone had taught me a single fundamental. Then I broke my back and almost ended up paralyzed, and I came back scared. Somebody finally sat me down and taught me the basics. One season changed my riding and it changed my life, and that was when I understood it was never talent."
Tommie Bennett, founderIf fundamentals could do that for a rider who could already spin nine hundred degrees, ask what they would do for you.
Two clips, side by side, both of them yours. That comparison is the thing almost no rider has ever had.
You will get a handful of days this winter. This is how you stop spending the first of them catching up.
A full breakdown of every level and every skill from the Rider Level system, plus the freestyle course, each as its own short video. Being filmed for the start of the season.
Count how many snowboard tips you have watched. Two hundred? More?
Now name what you actually got better at last season. Most riders cannot, and it is not because they were lazy.
It is because a tip only works if you are ready for it. The same five second clip that transforms one rider does nothing for another, and the only difference is what they already had underneath it. Order is the entire game, and YouTube serves you in the order that gets clicks, not the order that builds a rider.
So you have a pile of parts and no instructions. You did not fail at snowboarding. You were handed a jigsaw with no picture on the box.
I spent twenty years collecting tips, and I was good. Backside 900 good.
Then I broke my back and had to start again, and for the first time somebody taught me in order. Not more tips. The same things I already knew, put in the sequence they were supposed to go in.
One season. It changed my riding and it changed my life.
That sequence is what this is. I have taught it to 1,500 riders since, and it is the thing I wish somebody had handed me at eight years old instead of a lift ticket.
Every pass is a yearly subscription. Pay once for the season, get the whole track plus every new lesson I add all winter. Cancel anytime. Tap a pass to see what is in it.
Pick your track, follow it lesson by lesson, and feel the difference on your very next lap.
Not ready for the course? Send me one clip instead, from $29, and I will break it down frame by frame.
Send one clip. Inside 48 hours you get it back marked up frame by frame, with the one thing to fix and exactly what to do on your next run.
You have already filmed yourself. Almost everyone has.
You watched it back in the car park, and you could tell something was off. You just could not tell what. So you decided it was your posture, or your board, or that you need to commit more, and you rode the rest of the season on that guess.
Here is why watching your own footage rarely works. Your brain plays you what you meant to do. It has the intention, so it fills it in, and it edits out the exact half second where it went wrong. That is not a discipline problem. It is how everybody watches themselves.
A coach does not have your intention. A coach only has what actually happened, so the half second you cannot see is the first thing they notice.
When I came back from breaking my back, I could not work out why heelside felt like falling.
I had ridden for twenty years. I had landed a backside 900. I still could not see it.
Somebody watched one run and told me in about nine seconds. My back hand was opening early and taking my shoulders with it. I had been doing it for years, on every single turn, and I had never once felt it happen.
That is the whole thing. It is not that you need years of coaching. You need somebody who is not inside your own head to watch one clip and tell you the truth.
"Forty seconds of video and he found something I have been doing since 2019. I fixed it on the first run the next morning."
Beta rider, Utah
One hour, live, your footage on the screen and paused where it goes wrong. You leave with a plan for the rest of your season.
You have had tips. Dozens of them. From a friend on the lift, from a video at midnight, from a lesson you booked once in 2019 with an instructor who had never seen you ride before and never saw you again.
Every one of them was about a piece. Your knees. Your back hand. Your weight.
Nobody has ever sat with all of it at once and told you which piece is actually causing the others. That is the difference between a tip and being coached, and it is the reason you can fix three things and still ride the same.
Because usually it is one thing. The other four are just what your body does to survive that one thing. Chase them individually and you are playing whack a mole for a whole season.
"I have paid for lessons at three different resorts. This was the first time anyone told me why, instead of what."
Beta rider, British Columbia
My coaching brain, on tap, at 11pm the night before a trip. It never makes you feel like you should have known already.
There are questions you have never asked anybody.
Not because they are hard. Because you have been riding for six years and you feel like you are supposed to know this by now. So you nod on the lift, you look it up later, and you get forty minutes of a stranger talking about something slightly different.
Which way is my binding supposed to face. Am I actually goofy. Why does my back foot burn. Is this board too soft for me. Should it still feel this hard after six years.
Every one of those has a real answer, and not one of them is a stupid question. They only feel that way because nobody ever gave you a place to ask them.
I get asked the same forty questions every season, and I have answered them for thirty years.
So I trained this on all of it. My lessons, my breakdowns, the way I explain things, and the order I teach them in.
It is not a search engine, and it does not answer like one. Ask it why your heelside washes out and it asks you what your back hand is doing, the same as I would.

The Golden Medallion. Every course, for life, plus an hour on Zoom with me.
You just bought a season. This buys every season after it.
Every course I have filmed and every course I ever film, yours permanently. It never renews, so this is the last time you pay for coaching from me. And it includes a private hour with me on Zoom, which on its own is $199 and is the single thing riders tell me changed the most.
This offer is not on the pass screen and it does not come back. If it is not the right time, that is genuinely fine, and the pass you just bought does everything I said it would.
Upload a night to Cloudflare Stream, copy the video ID it gives you, and paste it here. It goes live for riders straight away. A night with no film still works, and tells the rider it is coming.
These unlock the full course, the AI Coach and the workout program. Clip breakdowns and 1-on-1 Zoom are never included, because both cost real money to fulfil.
Every visitor gives a scroll reading, so this is worth trusting from the very first testers. If most riders stop before halfway, the page is too long whatever else the numbers say.
These two numbers are the only thing the app uses to work out what riders are told about availability. Nothing about slots or turnaround is written anywhere else, so changing them here changes every page at once.
Submit it. If a coach picks it, next week's challenge runs with your name on it.
Type right on the clip. Drag to place it. Tap a text to restyle it, ✕ removes it.
Drag the blue handles on the timeline to set your start and end. The clip loops the trimmed part.
Drag the gold handles to mark the segment to slow, then pick a speed.
Scrub the timeline. The frame you stop on becomes your cover. The gold marker shows it.
Talk over your run. Tap record and the clip plays muted while it captures your mic. Tap again to stop, then keep it or redo.
Show the glow-up. Drop your oldest clip and your newest Jibbiti plays them side by side.
Both clips loop muted and play in sync. Upload happens when you tap Next.
Open Jibbiti once a day and the streak keeps burning. Miss a day and it resets. Your best run stays on the board. Days on hill come from the days you log riding.
